Our Story

After exiting a software company Ryan founded as a teenager, he and Jamie found themselves in their early 20s with capital to deploy. Seeking investments that could deliver cash flow, appreciation, and tax efficiency, they discovered mobile home parks—asset classes that proved resilient across economic cycles. This initial discovery became the foundation for what would grow into Elevation Capital Group, starting with manufactured housing communities and expanding into self-storage facilities.

Over the past 20 years, we've grown from a small team with big ambitions to a company that's owned over 74 properties across 20+ states and returned more than $250M to investors in aggregate. Along the way, we've learned that success in this business comes down to our core values: forward thinking that builds for the next generation, extreme ownership that fixes what needs fixing, grit that rolls up its sleeves, integrity that does the right thing, teamwork that builds together, and humility that serves others. These principles guide how we take care of residents and constantly get better at what we do.

The Beginning

Started acquiring real estate, laying the foundation for what would become Elevation Capital Group.

2004

Acquired our first manufactured housing community, beginning our focused investment in the asset class.

Trailer Cash®

Published "Trailer Cash®"—one of the most-read books on investing in manufactured housing on Amazon.

2010

Fund 1 & 2 Launch

Launched our first two investment funds, both successfully completed full cycle.

2013-14

Fund 3 & 4

Continued growth with Fund 3 (2013) and Fund 4 (2014), both achieving full cycle returns.

2015-17

Rapid Expansion

Launched Funds 5, 6, and 7 in consecutive years, significantly expanding our portfolio nationwide.
